The Venango County DUI Task force reports two persons arrested for driving under the influence as they conducted a DUI Roving Patrol last Friday. Officers of the City of Franklin Police Department, the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department, the Polk Borough Police Department, and the Venango County Sheriff's Department participated in the enforcement detail. Forty four traffic stops were made including 8 citations and 36 warnings issued.
Authorities report Emily Cooley was stopped in the five hundred block of Liberty street in the city of Franklin for a traffic violation. She was found to be under the influence and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and also under the influence of a controlled substance. Cooley was processed and released.
Jason Lineman was stopped in the 900 block of Rocky Grove Avenue in Sugarcreek Borough for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and also under the influence of a controlled substance. Lineman was processed and released.
